Join us at Washington County Ag Days, April 17 & 18, 2026, at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Ag Days is an annual event dedicated to connecting the community with the world of agriculture! Since 1988, this beloved tradition has brought together local farmers, 4-H Clubs, and passionate community members to showcase the essential role of agriculture in our daily lives.
Get up close with farm animals, experience live demonstrations, and witness the impressive Sheep Shearing Demonstration and animal showings. Also, enjoy six educational seminars that include animal nutrition, stockman training, home food preservation, pollinator garden planting, rain barrel workshop, and kids craft time.
Whether you’re a lifelong agriculture enthusiast or just curious to learn more, Washington County Ag Days is the perfect opportunity to engage, explore, and celebrate the rich agricultural heritage of our community. Don’t miss this fun and educational experience for all ages!
Attendees can enjoy:
- Educational Exhibits and Demonstrations:Â Attendees can explore a variety of agricultural educational exhibits designed to connect the community with local farming practices. The event will feature live demonstrations, including the popular sheep shearing showcase, where experts will demonstrate traditional and modern shearing techniques and a Blacksmith.
- Family-Friendly Activities:Â Ag Days offers interactive experiences for all ages, such as carnival rides, a petting zoo, and lawn & garden tractor pull. Visitors can enjoy the day with entertainment and educational value for children and adults alike.
- Local Vendors and Food: Attendees can savor delicious local food from local 4-H clubs, providing a true taste of Washington County’s culinary offerings.
The 2026 Ag Days will also feature a Farmers Market on April 17 from 6-9 p.m., as well as a Chili Cookoff.Â
