As the 2026 Washington County Fair approaches, there are so many exciting ways to get involved and support one of the community’s most beloved traditions. As the largest and most anticipated event of the year, the fair takes a year’s worth of planning, preparation, and teamwork to bring to life. Thanks to the continued support of our community, this week-long celebration of agriculture, family fun, and local partnerships continues to thrive year after year.

Volunteer:
Every year, hundreds of volunteers help make the fair possible. From scanning tickets and assisting guests to helping run attractions and activities, volunteers play a huge role in creating a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone who attends.
In partnership with the United Way, volunteer opportunities can be found through the Volunteer Connections portal. Be sure to stay updated over the coming weeks as new fair volunteer opportunities become available there.
You can also participate in our Fair Cleanup Volunteer Day on August 1st! Taking place two weeks before the annual fair begins, volunteers will spend the day helping prepare and beautify the fairgrounds before opening day.
