Kick Off Fair Season at Ag Days this April. As excitement builds for the upcoming fair season, there’s no better way to kick things off than by attending one of our favorite events of the year – Ag Days at the Washington County Fairgrounds! This FREE annual event is dedicated to educating the community about agriculture and highlighting the importance of the agricultural industry in Washington County.

Ag Days first began in 1988, with its earliest events held at the Old Washington Mall. In 2018, the event found its permanent home at the Washington County Fairgrounds, where it continues to grow each year.

Judy Lams of the Ag Days Committee describes it best: “This is a community event designed to educate and bring agricultural knowledge to the public. This is something that truly ‘takes a village’ to make happen. While we have a dedicated committee, we couldn’t do it without the support of the agricultural community. With help from the Fair Board, Commissioners, local businesses, and individuals throughout the area, we work together to make this event a success.”

Whether you’re interested in seeing the latest farming equipment, watching live agricultural demonstrations, meeting local vendors, or visiting with farm animals, Ag Days truly offers something for everyone.
