From August 15–22, 2026, the fairgrounds will be filled with classic sights, delicious food, and activities for all ages as this long-standing tradition comes to life once again.

A Local Tradition You Won’t Want to Miss

The Washington County Agricultural Fair has been a beloved community tradition since 1798. From livestock competitions to carnival rides, there’s truly something for everyone to enjoy. You can look forward to:

Livestock Exhibitions:
A wide variety of animals will be on display, showcasing the hard work of local farmers and 4-H participants. See prize-winning cows, goats, pigs, sheep, and more as competitors present their animals in hopes of taking home top honors.

Live Entertainment:
The 2026 fair will feature an exciting lineup of musicians, including local and regional favorites, along with crowd-pleasing events like derby races and high-energy monster truck shows. Agricultural & Craft Exhibits:
From homegrown produce to handmade creations, the fair highlights agricultural exhibits and craft entries that showcase the creativity and dedication of talented community members.

Enjoy a wide selection of carnival rides, games, and prize opportunities designed for visitors of all ages.

Classic Fair Food:

Trying to decide which day to attend? The fair offers several special discounted days designed to make the experience even more accessible for families and community members.

Discounted Admission Days — $5 Admission (includes rides, entertainment, and free parking):

  • Monday, August 17, 2026 — Senior Day
    Ages 62 and over receive $5 admission.
  • Tuesday, August 18, 2026 — Veterans Day
    Veterans receive $5 admission.
  • Thursday, August 20, 2026 — Children’s Day
    Children 12 and under receive $5 admission.
    All others: $15 admission.
